Resistance training.

I’ve said it a thousand times before but I’ll say it again at our age resistance training should be Non-negotiable. It should be the law! ✔️
The number of benefits are endless. Who wouldn’t benefit from..
stronger muscles, healthier bones, and a revved up metabolism. But in all seriousness, age related sarcopenia(muscle loss as we get older) is a real thing especially for us women. Poor

muscle strength and control can lead to joint issues, balance problem, and potential falls. Who needs that in their lives?
Resistance training can also help reduce stress, decrease body fat, reduce the risk of osteoporosis and reduce the number and intensity of hot flushes & night sweats as women with greater muscle mass tend to suffer less with vasomotor responses.
Resistance training also induces a real feeling of empowerment, independence, boosted confidence and self esteem.
Resistance training comes in so many different guises. Dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, bands, body weight,etc. Today I played with a mace and kettlebells for a total body work out (see below and also check out my Insta page for some more kettlebell flow sequences
